My name is Irena Alexandrova and I became a registered court interpreter in the US in 2003 which means that I can interpret court proceedings for Bulgarian witnesses and defendants with limited English skills.  I have been working for the Superior Court of California, the Federal Courts and USCIS.  I am also licensed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bulgaria and authorized to perform official translations and legalization of documents for Bulgaria and abroad.

 In the last 15 years I have worked for some of the most reputable organizations in America: The US Ministry of Defense, National Geographic, Miss Universe, Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Space X, Disney, Warner Brothers, Technicolor, and many more.

 I have done many exciting jobs such as: interpreting the live comments of the chief engineer of a Space X mission during the launching of a satellite into a geostationary orbit, interpreting for  a cancer patient during his brain tumor operation and interpreting for the Bulgarian team in the finals of the National Geographic  World Championship.

 I have done also hundreds of less exciting jobs-translating thousands of vital and medical records, educational documents and immigration related files. I have learned and continue to learn the nuances of both the English and the Bulgarian languages in order to facilitate my clients’ cross-cultural communication.
